CBS ( Whitton ) LTD Shut Down on the 21st March 2026

After 67 wonderful years, I am writing to share that we have made the very difficult decision to close CBS Whitton Ltd on 21st March 2026.

This has been the hardest decision I have ever had to make. The business was my father’s dream—he loved coming to work every day and spending time with his beloved Vespas. I know he would have been heartbroken to see this day, and that makes this decision even more emotional for our family.

Ultimately, rising retail costs and the ongoing challenges facing the motorcycle market—particularly since COVID—have led us to this point.

I would like to sincerely thank all of our customers for their loyalty and support over the years. It has truly meant a great deal to us.

I would also like to thank Alan my work Wife who has committed to 23 years service with us., , . A special thank you goes to our manufacturers—Kawasaki, Vespa,  Sym ,Silkolene and past members of staff Neil ,Deane, Steven ,Darren,Anna and Howard—who have helped make CBS Whitton Ltd the honest and respected dealership it has always been.

As for me, I’ll be taking some time out to enjoy a bit more golf and plenty of motorbike riding.

Over the last Month (March 2026) we have had so many people come and say goodbye it has meant a lot to myself and Alan so thank you to all our customers and suppliers.

What this means for you:.

We Have now Shutdown the shop and have no plans to reopen.

• On Saturday 28th March 2026 from 4pm we will be having a goodbye drink in the White Hart pub all welcome but unfortunately drinks are not free

​

While this chapter is coming to an end, the memories will remain. Thank you for being part of our journey.
